An 11-story, 327-unit multi-family residential complex with three levels of below-grade parking located within The Yards on the old Washington Navy Yard property in Southwest Washington, D.C. Property amenities will include 20,000 square-feet of retail space, a rooftop pool with lounge area, public courtyards, fitness center, play room, media rooms, and conference space.
FMC and Associates performed full construction materials quality control and inspection services for this project. Services included foundation subgrade testing, drilled piles testing and inspection, soil backfill compaction testing and inspection, and sheeting and shoring inspection. In addition, FMC performed concrete testing for all cast-in-place concrete as well as steel reinforcement inspections. Other inspections such as waterproofing and MEP inspections are contracted. This project is complete.
